Want to write articles for $3000 each year? This appears like an impossible task to most people, but it’s not. To achieve your goals, you only need to be willing to make sacrifices and maintain your commitment even under challenging circumstances. I did just that when I published an essay that brought in $3,000 in a single month, which made me think that anyone could do the same if they were prepared to put in the necessary effort. See this guide on how I made $3,000 by writing an article to learn more about my method and how to apply it to your own situation.

Select a topic

Selecting a topic is one of your greatest writing assignments and also one of your most crucial ones. Start with an area of interest to you. Instead of writing about what you believe readers would find interesting, look for topics that will pique readers’ individual interests. What information might my friends find interesting? Or even better: How can I distribute information that my friends will find useful? It’s simpler to invest time and effort when you start from a place of enthusiasm, and who knows? You never know — you might even wind up learning something! Don’t be scared to venture outside of your country when picking a subject for your first freelance writing work. Readers prefer variety, therefore it’s nice if you can cover a number of topics in one post.

Create a Spreadsheet in Google Docs

A Google Spreadsheet is a fantastic tool for keeping track of your writing and holding yourself responsible. Indicate the completion of the first and second drafts, respectively. Instead of using spreadsheets, just start a notebook and track your progress each day until it’s finished. The greatest thing to have is something physical, but anything that keeps you on track will do. Take a look at any of the Split or Hootsuite editorial calendar layouts. If you haven’t previously created your own template for these kinds of assignments, they can be very useful. Make a reminder for yourself each day, then follow through with it!

Create the Article

It’s time to start writing when you’ve done your research and finished your outline. Just remember that a target length is an intention. If your writing comes naturally, keep continuing until you’ve reached your desired word count. Break it up into many posts if you find trouble writing 1,000 to 2,000 words about a topic without doing any research (more on that later). The same is true for any deadlines that have been suggested; if your research or writing takes longer than anticipated, take as much time as you need.

Appraoch Outlets about Guest Posting

Once you have a completely developed content, it’s time to start contacting publications about guest posting. We advise pitching at least 40 or 50 different sites if you want to receive the most exposure, but if you’re just beginning started and don’t want to overwhelm yourself, a lesser number of high-quality pitches will do.

Prepare your guest post, then wait to be paid

It’s time to submit your final copy when your guest post has been approved. Before doing so, make sure to find out whether they have any unique formatting needs. The only thing left to do is await payment. Normally, it takes 30 days or so from the day your draft is turned in until you are paid (if everything goes smoothly). Reach out to them and let them know if, after roughly a month, you haven’t heard anything back.
